This is the philosophy of Dr André Borsche, plastic surgeon and Chairman of INTERPLAST-Germany e.V., from Bad Kreuznach. The organisation helps people with congenital or acquired defects through plastic surgery operations in developing countries.

Among others INTERPLAST has projects in Malawi, one of the ten poorest countries in the world. In the current project they have been in the hospitals in Chitipa and Kaseye, Northern Malawi. At the newly built hospital in Kaseye, construction work is progressing fast and with the arrival of the INTERPLAST team after a corona-related standstill, construction work on the operating wing with the two operating theatres, the recovery room and many functional rooms could now continue. Among other things, anesthesia equipment and a sterilizer were installed and the monitoring devices were checked.
